Postal and Life Insurance Corporation is a government institution under the control of the Postal Department. In 1884, the Postal Department introduced a policy called the Postal and Life Insurance Corporation to provide financial security to runners. Later in 1953 it was opened to the public. After the independence of Bangladesh in 1971, the Postal and Life Insurance Corporation was divided into two Circle. Eastern Circle (Dhaka) and Western Circle (Rangpur).

Must have passed Secondary School Certificate or equivalent examination from any recognized board.
